Textile Art: Embroidered Coffee Bags

I recently acquired some coffee bags from a local coffeeshop and have been experimenting with them to make several different products.

I've been wanting to try embroidering the coffee bags, and finally got around to trying it out a few days ago:

The burlap is a perfect canvas for embroidery. Isn't this little bird adorable?

The colors for this piece were so much fun to use. I love color!

These two pieces are in my shop as wall art - they can be hung using binder clips or another method of your choosing. They measure approx. 8 by 12" and are sewn around the edges to prevent unraveling.
