Handmade Lace Trim Tutorial

I've been working on something special. Actually, several things, but this is the one that's ready to be shared with the world.

Do you sew as well as crochet? How would you like to trim a shirt with some beautiful, hand-stitched lace? This lovely natural thread became a soft, smooth length of lace almost without any help from me. Well, not really. I am extremely pleased with the way it turned out though. The tutorial is below in PDF format, available for $5.00 download from Ravelry or Craftsy. Enjoy!

  1. Oooohhh! This is adorable! I was wondering, could this be made in fingering weight yarn?

    1. Absolutely! You may need to get creative and shorten the length of the trim to accommodate for the thickness of the yarn, though. Using a thicker yarn will make it both thicker and longer.
