Knitting Time!

It's actually been super hot where I live now - Arkansas is not known for its cool summers, that's for sure! But with everyone back to school and September only a week away, I'm getting into the autumn mood with some fresh knitting projects! Here's a pair of fingerless gloves I've been working on:

I can't wait to finish them! I'm thinking of adding a colorful embroidery detail to the back, and possibly listing them on my Etsy!

By the way, I am taking custom orders for Christmas gifts and the like, if anyone is interested! You can e-mail me or message me on Etsy.

In the meantime, look at these gorgeous knits.

This simple hat by Christine Roy uses a variety of techniques and certainly would not be boring to make! The pattern is available for free on Ravelry.

I think these chunky knee socks look incredibly cozy. Imagine them over tights for a winter's day in. This pattern is courtesy of Lion Brand, which I found on Pinterest.

nice for around the house

And these lacy gloves by Cynthia Parker might be just the thing to get me into lace knitting. I love the feathery pattern and the gray color. This pattern is also free on Ravelry.
