I've had this vision in my head for at least a few weeks, and I was finally able to see it come into reality today. It's finished and I can't wait to try variations of the same idea and see how they turn out.
This rustic wall hanging is made of three handmade doilies stiffened with wood glue and hung with twine from a natural wood branch. I love the combination of rough twine and uneven wood with the intricate lace doilies - nature meets old-fashioned classic.
