Monday Lunch Break

Autumn seems to be finally making its slow way here to northwest Arkansas. Apparently the summer was quite mild, but it's been dragging on forever. The trees are showing more color now and it actually gets somewhat chilly at night. I'm hoping it snows at least once before I leave.

Yes, leave! My next adventure is moving back to my beloved New England and living there for the foreseeable future! My season in AR is just about over, and I can't wait to see what's next.

I'm sitting in the break room at the library and thinking about my latest projects and hoping it won't be too dark to do some product photography when I get home. Can't wait to show y'all what I've been working on! I've got something lacy, something cabled, and something sparkly too.

Fact about me: I can't just sit and knit or crochet. I need to be either watching a movie/show or listening to music - usually the show wins out though. My latest obsession has been British murder mystery series - I just re-watched episode one of Sherlock, watched The Escape Artist with David Tennant, and am now starting Wallander. Hoping to get my hands on some more Marple episodes too! The thing about knitting while watching these shows is that I have something to distract myself with if it gets too scary, and it's interesting enough to keep my attention. BBC does such a great job on their TV shows.

Okay, back to work. Happy Monday :)

  2. OMG I'm the same way! I have to, no, NEED to watch something while I crochet and it's usually a murder mystery. I watched every episode of Murder, She Wrote on Netflix, also Sherlock, Poirot, and a few Marple episodes. Sometimes I watch Supernatural with my husband and during the scary parts I focus more on my crochet project than the screen hehe
