A Car Blanket

I've decided I need to make a blanket for my car at some point. Obviously this project would be ongoing, but I want to get started soon. My beloved Subaru needs a colorful blanket to carry around, to use for impromptu picnics or beach visits, and for keeping warm when driving on crisp fall days and cold winter nights.
