Intricacy Lace Edging

Whether you’re looking to finish a handmade garment with a touch of old-fashioned elegance, or simply want to create a beautiful piece of lace for the future, this pattern is the perfect place to start.

I love when designs just happen, without much planning. I needed something extra to trim the hem of a dress I'm refashioning, so this lace was born.

Bamboo thread is one of my favorite fibers to use. It's soft and has a very slight pearly sheen to it. Wait until you iron the lace, too - the way it flattens and opens up is heavenly.

To make this lace, you will need a size 3 (1.9mm) steel crochet hook and one skein of Aunt Lydia's Bamboo Crochet Size 10.

The pattern is available for $7.00 on Ravelry: buy now
If you are part of Craftsy instead, you can download it here.

Keep checking back for pictures of the finished dress! I'm hoping to finish it by the end of the week at the latest, so stay tuned!
