As my readership grows and views become slowly but steadily more numerous, I realized I'm ready to try taking this to the next step and starting some new things. I was afraid to do them before because I'm so small and not very popular yet, but they sound so fun I couldn't resist. It can't hurt to try something new, right? The worst that could happen would be that no one would participate, but that's okay! It will be a learning experience, and I need as many of those as I can get!
First, a coupon code to my Etsy shop! Use the code melmaria25 to get 25% off your entire order of $15 or more! This deal expires on October 1st, so be sure to take advantage of it before then! I'm planning on running some more deals in the later fall, as we get closer to the Christmas season. A fellow Etsian challenged me to have 100 items listed in my shop by mid-October, and I think I'm going to do it. Goals like that are so important, especially when you're focusing on a handmade business.
Second, I've begun hosting sponsorships on my blog! At the moment, I'm averaging about 100 views a day, which isn't amazing of course, but I'm growing and I want to promote other people on my blog. Check out my sponsor page for rates and slots, and send me an e-mail! I would love to do business with you and help you out. In addition to affordable slot prices - $10 for small slot, $15 for large - I will also help you with your ad graphic if you need!
Well, that's the latest from Arkansas! I've been fighting off the inevitable allergies that come from pollen season in one of the country's most allergy-prone state, as I drink tea and eat eggs and bake bread. I had a babysitting job a few days ago - my first babysitting gig in years and years. I wiped noses, judged a fashion show, and cuddled with a six-year-old little girl while catching up on my Disney Channel. (Oh, Disney...how far you've come...*gag*). No, not really a fan. But the kids I babysat were cute!
Looking forward to new opportunities and the excitement of the future! What are some things you have to look forward to? Any new craft projects you'd like to share? I'd love to hear from you!
