Hi, I just discovered your patterns and they are great! Before buying your poppy pattern I want to try the 'Mahogany Crochet' pattern. But I have a question .What do you mean with 'pull up the bead next to the hook'? I don't understand it. Do you put the bead on the hook or? If I read your instructions I think I have to keep the bead next to the hook, but how does the yarn get through the bead? Can you help me? (maybe it is because English is not my first language...)
Hi! Okay, when you make my Mahogany Crochet necklace, you string all the beads on the working thread BEFORE you start crocheting. So, when I say 'pull up bead next to hook', I mean pull up a bead close to the hook, yarn over, and pull yarn through like you're making a regular chain stitch. If that doesn't help you, I'll try to figure out how to explain it better.
